For example, she recommended a number of minor improvements before putting the house on the market. Since I was abroad, she handled all the building works including appointing contractors, reviewing quotes, and letting the workmen on site. She has a network of people she regularly works with and this proved invaluable. She then staged the house and even offered to take unwanted items to charities for donations. Nothing was too much trouble. When we received an offer, she assessed the risks and made a recommendation. Once we accepted an offer, she followed up with the various parties to make sure they were all moving towards the finish line. Not sure what else you could ask for in an agent.
