78 Stewart Ave, Kearny Town, NJ 07032-1724

Step onto the front porch and you’ll feel the character right away. Inside, a large, open foyer greets you with a beautiful wood staircase. This Manor section home has almost 2, 000 square feet, 4 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths, with the kind of historic details that are hard to find. Stained glass windows catch the light, pocket doors slide into the walls, and thick wood trim frames the rooms. High ceilings run throughout, and the refinished hardwood floors are gleaming. The first floor has an open living room flowing into the dining room, with the kitchen and a powder room finishing off the main level. Upstairs you’ll find the primary bedroom with a large closet, plus 2 more bedrooms and a full bath. Up one more level is the 4th bedroom and a large unfinished attic storage space. The basement is unfinished and offers even more storage. The location makes daily life easy. Close proximity to schools, transportation, parks, and houses of worship. If you want a home with real history and room to make it yours, this one is worth seeing.
